Two commercial sites form part of a HGP Architects major mixed use regeneration scheme, known as Ropetackle North (Shoreham Waterfront). The entire development comprises a site of 6.5 acres and has consent for 120 houses and flats, along with a Café, Gallery and Retail units.
Phase 1 provides a new 300m2 Café and Gallery space fronting onto the River Adur with associated back of House facilities. A Large terrace opens out overlooking the river providing local residents with refreshments and a central meeting point. The Café also has direct access onto the river walk and into the town centre beyond.
Phase 1 also provides a new 380m2 Retail store. The store fronts the main road with associated customer parking and service bay. The building has been designed in a contemporary style being constructed of facing brick with an accent of coloured in-fill panels.
