Southampton Harbour Hotel
The Harbour Hotel is an 85 bedroom luxury hotel and spa experience built on the waterfront of Ocean Village, Southampton, as a maritime escape from the city.
Drawing on past experience of working to tight constraints along the Marina, we were able to ensure the form of the building remained true to its nautical setting throughout technical design stages.
Internally, residential duplex units fully embrace the marine setting by having dual aspect, allowing views from bedrooms and living rooms alike. This extends to the restaurant and bar spaces which contribute to the fully immersive experience of almost being amidst the open sea.
The cascading levels add to the experience by providing generous terraces at each floor.
The building’s concrete frame structure uses its position on the Jetty as a launching pad to support a programme of conference facilities, restaurant and rooftop bar boasting panoramic views of the harbour.
Our technical knowledge ensured services were concealed seamlessly to provide a sculptural foyer space, creating an exciting and dynamic entrance.
