Planning permission secured for Victoria Quay
We’re delighted to have secured planning permission for UK Docks Marine Services’ new boat maintenance facility at Victoria Quay, Gosport.
Located within the Royal Clarence Yard Conservation Area, the project required a careful balance between delivering modern marine infrastructure and respecting Gosport’s rich maritime heritage. Through close collaboration with the local authority and heritage consultants, the design evolved to respond sensitively to its historic waterfront setting.
The approved scheme will provide 1,400m² of workshop space, including specialist boat repair facilities, workshops and staff accommodation, helping support the continued growth of the marine industry in the Solent.
