Timeless Garden Living

Old Mansion

Nestled within an ancient woodland, our residential scheme in Eastleigh, North Stoneham, lies along the historic axis of the former Old Mansion that once stood on the site, seamlessly connecting heritage with present day living.

This secluded site, situated next to our North Stoneham Park project, presented a unique opportunity, a natural progression in our ongoing involvement in the development of the local area.

Set within a beautiful woodland environment, the design carefully protected every existing tree, respecting the constraints the trees presented while still delivering functional and usable spaces.

Nominated for the South Coast Property Awards, the scheme takes inspiration from Herbert Collins’ Garden Cities, placing homes around green spaces to create a harmonious suburban landscape. The layout features clusters of buildings that form defined spaces around the dwellings.

The prominent three-storey brick and stone building welcomes you into the development, framed at the end of a curving vista that opens onto the central green.

The main apartment block designed to be high-end luxury residences, generously proportioned, to take full advantage of the stunning surroundings and picturesque views.

Overlooking the southern fishing lakes, the apartments establish the tone for the entire development.

Crafted with a high-quality finish, the buildings feature quality stonework, adorned with detailed iron balustrades, reflecting a clear focus on durability, detail, and craftsmanship.

To the west is a beautifully set courtyard, focusing on a central Grade A tree, taking inspiration from Herbert Collins Garden City, blending landscape seamlessly into the suburban setting.

The completed development now comprises 63 homes, offering a variety of one to four-bedroom houses and apartments, thoughtfully arranged within distinct character areas and courtyards.

The long-fronted shallow-depth detached and semi detached homes were designed to actively engage with the street, reinforcing a strong sense of place.
