Join Us in Making a Difference!
We’re inviting you to help make our sponsored walk in collaboration with the Final Straw Foundation a green and blue success! We’ll be walking 15miles circumnavigating Portsmouth on Saturday 9th Sept, litter picking as we go.
The walk is intended not only to raise awareness for the damage litter and micro plastic does to our waterfronts but also raise money, via our Just giving page, to build another Final Straw Fish Sculpture. These sculptures are creatively made locally from scrap metal by Sailboat Trailers in Emsworth. They are engaging and effective in collecting plastic and aluminium bottles, demonstrably highlighting the volume of single use waste. We want to contribute to their great work by helping create another of these sculptures to make an even bigger splash!
