From the archives – Gunwharf Quays
Transformed from the Royal Navy’s HMS Vernon to one of the South Coast’s most notable destinations and home to landmarks Spinnaker Tower and The Vulcan Building, we share some of our archive images to celebrate Gunwharf Quays 20th Anniversary. Conceived by Hedley Greentree, the practice founding partner, the masterplan realised a vision of opportunity for Portsmouth and has become a recognisable legacy of the practice, which we are very proud of.
